A recent pre-print study performed on vaccinated health care workers concluded the following:
“Breakthrough Delta variant infections are associated with high viral loads, prolonged PCR positivity, and low levels of vaccine-induced neutralizing antibodies, explaining the transmission between the vaccinated people. Physical distancing measures remain critical to reduce SARS-CoV-2 Delta variant transmission.”
What this study suggests is that some vaccinated individuals have a high viral load and low level of neutralising antibodies, leading to COVID-19 disease. With this data, which suggests the transmission between vaccinated people, can any kind of vaccine mandate make any scientific or medical sense?
