Hi Everyone,

It’s really interesting, I’ve spent the last 11 years or so studying human anatomy & biomechanics, physiology, exercise prescription, corrective exercise, high performance exercise, nutrition, metabolic typing behaviour change modification etc, etc, etc.

What I have come to realise is that the most important thing I can do to help most people improve their health is to get them to SSSSSSSLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW  DDDDDDDOOOOOOOOWWWWWNNNNNN!!!!

Everyone is so busy running around, trying to earn enough money to pay the bills and to maintain a certain standard of living. However, because most people are so busy, they don’t eat well, sleep well, exercise well and are stressed all the time. This lifestyle is a disease waiting to happen. Not only that, but if you’re stressed all the time, can you possibly be happy?

Can it really be that important to be soooooo busy and yet you have no time to enjoy it? I urge you to ask yourself, is your job/career really making you happy? Is it serving you?

It is absolutely crucial that you have these 4 things in life to be healthy and happy:

  1. Have goals. Know what you want from life. Know what you enjoy doing. Have plans in place to achieve your goals and do the things you enjoy most doing.
  2. Eat well and stay hydrated. Eat a 100% organic diet in accordance with your metabolic type and drink plenty of good quality water.
  3. Exercise each day, whether it’s walking, stretching, going to the gym or running etc. It doesn’t have to be too strenuous.
  4. Have ‘down time’ each day. Learn to meditate or take up tai chi, yoga or qi gong. Try to get out into nature as much as possible. Practise each day. Even if you only start with 10 minutes. It’s important in this information age that we allow our brains time to switch off during our waking hours.

I wish you good health!
