What a year 2008 has been! A truly great year.
It has certainly been a busy, productive and successful year for myself.
The first 6 months of the year I spent studying a Post Graduate Diploma in Sport & Remedial Massage Therapy whilst having the busiest client schedule I have ever had. The course further deepened my knowledge of the human body and in particular, improved my knowledge and ability to deal with more acute injuries to add to my experience of chronic injuries.
During the same time my tennis team were very successful losing just one match all year and winning our league by 36 points.
I also attended the BodyTalk Module 3 Certification which covered the 5 senses and consciousness. This taught me how to address the beliefs, attitudes and states of awareness of my clients in a simple, non-invasive way and an understanding of such concepts as space/time, guilt, separation: individuation; the true nature, the ‘essential’ nature, masks and habitual thinking patterns.
I also signed a deal to write 2 books which are now written and are just about to go through the editing stage and will be published late next year. I’ll keep you posted on their publication.
I spoke at the first International CHEK Conference in London alongside presenters such as Paul Chek, Serge Gracovetsky and Leon Chaitow. I spoke about how our behaviours are programmed during childhood, how our emotions can cause disease and what can be done to correct them. Watch out for the DVD of the conference.
Throughout the year I read, listened to and watched the work of Esther and Jerry Hicks and Brian Weiss. I attended a workshop by Esther and Jerry Hicks which was totally amazing. I have been able to use their teachings in my work with my clients to help guide people along their spiritual path. This, in combination with the teachings of Paul Chek has greatly helped me to help my clients improve their health and level of happiness. I’m not sure if there is another career that can be as rewarding.
