Last week I had the pleasure of teaching CHEK Exercise Coach at CHEK Europe HQ in Mawdesley, Lancashire.
We had a really great bunch of guys who were a pleasure to teach.
As always, I pushed the guys beyond their comfort zone, which ultimately is crucial if you are looking to learn and develop your knowledge, skills and abilities.
On the flip side, I always try to make the classes light-hearted and good fun. There was a lot of good humoured banter, most of which was aimed at our sole Welshman in the class Nigel (aka Kevin), who fortunately, in his own words, “has skin as thick as an elephants”.
In addition to it being a great class, the surroundings of the Lancashire countryside is a great one to be a student in, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
I’m now really looking forward to teaching the first ever CHEK Europe Academy workshop there in early November.
